DR. GRETTA LEON

My name is Gretta Isabel Leon. I was born in Heredia, Costa Rica. 
I was raised in East Hampton since I was a month old and attended the East Hampton Elementary School, Middle School, and Ross School (for high school). 
 
I am proud to be the first generation to attend college in my immediate family.  

 

I studied college abroad in San Jose, Costa Rica, where I learned Spanish fluently while learning more about my family background and Costa Rican Culture.

 
In Costa Rica, I attended and graduated from Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología (ULACIT), where I coursed a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education (teaching English) and Foreign Language and Translation (Spanish to English), a masters degree, majoring area of study: Project Management and I am a Doctor in Dental Sciences. I form part of the Board of Ethics for the College of Dental Surgeons in Costa Rica. 
I recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, coursed a master's in science in Organizational Dynamics at the University, and a Graduate Certificate in Leading and Managing through Change.
 
I look forward to representing the community in my best interest and bringing an innovative, dynamic approach to the table.
